Welcome to
Portnadoran Caravan Site
Our site is a family owned and run caravan and camping site, situated on a working croft in the village of Arisaig in the West Highlands of Scotland.
We keep Shorthorn cattle, Highland Ponies, Suffolk Sheep and Border Collies – more about them on the What’s Happening pages.
Our site is open from Easter through to mid-October and we offer pitches for both touring caravans and tents and also have self-catering accommodation.
We are lucky enough to be sited right on the coast, with direct access to white sandy beaches and some of the best views of the Inner Hebridean Islands of Eigg, Rhum, Muck and Skye.
Portnadoran – translated from Gaelic to mean Bay of Otters – is our pebble bay and is a great place for bird watching and if you are lucky, you may be able to watch the resident otters feeding and at play in the rock pools.
You will find that our site is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding villages of Mallaig, Morar and Arisaig on the beautiful Road to the Isles. Take a day trip to one of the islands or take advantage of the guided walks with the local Ranger.
